What’s PROCON?

PROCON holiday courses are designed to accelerate into new HSC material, to give you a flying head start to Term 1. Keeping up with the course will ensure your foundation is solid while getting you comfortable on topics ahead. Project Academy’s overarching aim is for all its students to achieve a high Band 6 in all subjects in the HSC. PROCON is the very first element of this plan.

What You’ll Be Learning

In a single day, we will tackle the start of Module 6 - Genetic Change. Specifically we will focus on Mutations: what are they, what types there are, how they occur, and what effect they can have! We will also cover core parts of Module 5 - Heredity for the schools who start in a different order.

​Siri is one of the most popular tutors at Project. Siri achieved a state rank in Biology, ranking 8th in NSW and attaining a score of 97. Known for her highly engaging classes and breadth of knowledge, she shows her passion for the subject through her meticulously prepared and personalised lessons for her students. Siri is currently completing a bachelors degree at UNSW.

Beau Burrows

AR at Mosman High

2nd in Biology

Beau was Vice Captain at Mosman High, where he graduated near the top of his cohort, ranking 2nd in Biology, and 4th in English Advanced. Loved by his students, he is known for his effective teaching style and breadth of knowledge. He is currently completing an undergraduate degree at university.
