What’s PROCON?

PROCON holiday courses are designed to accelerate into new HSC material, to give you a flying head start to Term 1. Keeping up with the course will ensure your foundation is solid while getting you comfortable on topics ahead. Project Academy’s overarching aim is for all its students to achieve a high Band 6 in all subjects in the HSC. PROCON is the very first element of this plan.

What You’ll Be Learning

In a single day, we will tackle some of the most important concepts of Y11 Physics. Students learn about Module 1 (Kinematics). In particular: Describing motion in 1D and 2D using vectors and scalars, addition and subtraction of vectors using trigonometric and algebraic methods, deriving models for the equations of motions for kinematic systems, representing motion using graphs, and applying these concepts to various situations, including relative motion in 1D and 2D. Students will also learn how to apply key exam techniques from the best educators in the state to smash Module 1 exam questions.

​Johnny graduated with a 99.45 ATAR from Baulkham Hills High, placing him near the top of his cohort. He ranked 2nd internally in Physics (95) and 2nd internally in 3U Maths (95). He is known for his depth knowledge and concise teaching style. Johnny is currently completing a bachelors degree at UNSW.

Alicia Pan

AR at Abbotsleigh - 99.80 ATAR

95 in Physics, 95 in Chemistry

Alicia is regarded as one of the best HSC Physics tutors in NSW. With over 4 years of teaching experience, Alicia graduated near the top of Abbotsleigh School, achieving a 99.80 ATAR, 95 in Physics, 97 in 2U Maths, 95 in Chemistry, and 10th in NSW for Visual Arts. Alicia is known for the level of care she gives to each of her students. She is now completing a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering at the University of Sydney.
